The Full Stack Engineer – Intern position is integral to our development team, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. Key Responsibilities
- Front-End Development: Work with React.js to build responsive and interactive user interfaces.
- Back-End Development: Build RESTful APIs using Python frameworks like Flask or Django. Implement and integrate APIs and other services.
- Database Management: Develop and optimize database queries in PostgreSQL, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Version Control: Use Git for version control, ensuring smooth collaboration with the development team.
- Collaboration: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices. Participate in team meetings and agile ceremonies. Support deployment processes and ensure the reliability of applications. Learn and apply new technologies as needed.
- Bug Fixing & Debugging: Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack, ensuring high application performance and reliability.
- Testing: Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to ensure code quality.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of web technologies and programming languages.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React.
- Strong experience with Python, particularly with frameworks like Flask or Django for backend development.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and relational database concepts.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Prior internship experience in software development is a plus.
- Passion for coding and a drive to improve.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
