Job Description
Role Summary:
The Accounts Intern will work closely with our accounting team to handle day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain records, and ensure accurate financial documentation. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, Tally proficiency, and familiarity with tax concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily accounting operations and data entry in Tally to ensure accurate records.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial documents and reports.
- Apply basic knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, and Advance Tax in relevant tasks and assist with tax compliance activities.
- Use MS Office tools (Excel, Word) for data tracking, reporting, and document preparation.
- Support the team in month-end financial closing activities.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
a) Proficient in Tally for accounting tasks.
b) Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word).
c) Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, and Advance Tax.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for clear, concise reporting and collaboration.
